みなさん、こんにちは! Hello, everyone! Here is a short lesson on how to count people in Japanese. Very useful for when going out to eat at restaurants.

The Japanese language has different counters for. many things, “-nin” is the counter for people. Notice 1,2 and 4 (FOUR PEOPLE IS “YO-NIN”・not yon-nin) are the only numbers that are different.
